Dell G5 Highlights

Dell has refreshed its G-Series with G5 and gaming laptops at CES 2019. Now it comes with the more powerful processor and graphics hardware. The all-new G5 laptop. The new G5 laptop comes with 8th Gen Hexacore processors along with Nivida GeForce RTX 2080 GPU for the great gaming experience.

All new G5 gaming laptop comes with 4 zone RGB keyboard along with customizable backlighting, Alienware command center and G-sync panels with up to 144HZ Refresh rate.



The Dell G5 Laptop comes with an only 15-inch version with Full-HD display and UHD display having 3840×2160 pixels resolution.


The base version of the laptop has Quad-core Intel Core i5-8300HQ processor, while the higher version will be running on Hexa-core Intel Core i7-8750HQ CPU.


As for the graphics options, the Laptop offers a Nivida GeForce GTX1050Ti, GeForce RTX 2060, GeForce RTX 2070, as well as GeForce RTX 2080 Graphic cards along with Max-Q design.

RAM and Storage

The Dell G5 Laptop also includes 8/16GB RAM that can be upgraded up to 32GB, along with 1TB HDD, 1TB SSD storage or a hybrid storage option with a maximum of 1TB SSD and 2TB of HDD Storage.


Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, Dual-band WiFi, Dual channel gigabit killer Ethernet handle connectivity.


The port options include HDMI 2.0 Port, three superspeed USB 3.1Ports, a microSD card slot, a wedge lock slot, and a 3.5mm Headphone Jack. It also features a Thunderbolt 3.0 (USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C) port, (all the features are the same as Dell G7 laptop).


The laptop makes a choice between 4-cell 60Whr battery and 6-cell 90Whr battery.

Other Version

Dell has also launched G5 15 SE laptop whose features are similar to Dell G5 15 laptops. But Dell G5 15 SE will offer Alpine White color option while Dell G5 15 will available in the Deep Space Black Shade color option. The laptop is pricing at $999.99.
